A Year of Growth and Innovation

Edgar Cahoon

The Center for Plant Science Innovation (PSI) has had a remarkable year, marked by significant accomplishments. We've secured over $10.5 million in new federal awards, surpassing previous years. This funding has fueled groundbreaking research, leading to multiple publications in top-tier journals. We are proud to recognize the outstanding accomplishments, exceptional talent and dedication of our young researchers. This year, we awarded four individuals with prestigious achievement awards, made possible by the generous support of the B. Keith & Norma F. Heuermann Foundation.

As we continue to push the boundaries of plant science, we remain dedicated to addressing global challenges in agriculture. We do so by fostering a supportive, collaborative environment, empowering our researchers to achieve groundbreaking discoveries.
